Does state NP practice authority change an ACE nursing practicum?
No. ACE does not offer a nurse practitioner track. AANP categories provide state context for licensed NP practice and do not change an ACE student's indirect-care education or administration role.
Should an ACE placement search start with a physical site?
Yes. Physical sourcing is the planning baseline. The student should confirm the pathway, course, preceptor or mentor, site, and project requirements before relying on a candidate.
Can a virtual-capable ACE proposal be reviewed?
Only conditionally, after written confirmation from ACE, the course team, the site, and every applicable state. A candidate remains subject to ACE review, and no approval or academic credit is promised.
